• Introduced in the Senate on February 1, 2008, to expand a current sales tax exemption for computers used in manufacturing to additionally include all equipment and materials used in manufacturing processes for engineering, research and development, or product design. The bill is estimated to reduce state tax revenues by $6 million next year.
